Stop! After making your way through the amateurish dialogue and repetitive flashbacks to the same parts of the same scenes, over and over again, you are rewarded with an ending that is pretentious and arbitrary.Q: Will this movie make me laugh?

A: No, but it might make you cry out. Expletives mostly.

Q: How is the Acting?
A: Nobody does the angst-ridden, rebellious teenager thing better than Evan Rachel Wood. Just try not to think about how she's sleeping with Marilyn Manson-- gross! And isn't he like twice her age? But I digress. What I'm trying to say about the acting is... I never realized how big Uma Thurman's boobs were before.
Q: How is the Directing?
A: Much like the dialogue, it's hoaky.
Q: How is the story/script?
A: They had enough good material to make a four minute short film. They seem to realize that though, because they play the good part over and over and over again, just in case you missed how good it was the first twenty times. Oh, and did I mention how lame the ending is?

There's more to like about this movie than Uma Thurman's boobs. There's also Eva Amurri's boobs.
But seriously, the acting is fantastic. Too bad it's wasted in a story that just isn't worth the trouble of filming.
HA! Eva Amurri was good, too. I'd never seen her before. Very natural-- both physically and acting-wise. And she's one of those rare cases that actually looks fitter in a bathing suit than in clothes. Weird.
I was so underwhelmed by this story or lack of, though I found some of the art/scenic aspects nice.... I thought it was thoroughly depressing and punishing to watch over and over again....once.

Eva Amurri was the Jewish girl in Saved!, but I didn't notice that until I looked her up. At the time, she was just "some unknown actress who can play cynical very well" to me.
Also, I'm pleased that you took my boobs remark as an attempt at humor, rather than piggishness. I didn't mention anything about the performers' looks in my review of the film.
